it's absolutely magnificent out. it's extremely foggy, so the climb up bascom hill was gorgeous. it felt totally like genting... cool and nice out, and well, misty n poor visibility. couldn't see more than 15m in front of me i guess. and the light patter of drizzle on your face... yeah it was refreshing to climb up the hill for once haha. and before my exam too.
i'm glad the exam's over. can really feel the difference in stress level. there's still one more tmr, but i'm not as stressed for that one as i was for econs. econs gets me down just cos it doesn't make any sense to me. no... it doesn't make dollars either. =) economic GEOGRAPHY is so much more practical and interesting... all the same, thank God for a good exam. and the less points i drop, the better for my overall grade.
it shouldn't matter so much. midterms and finals and assignments and GPA. esp GPA. it shouldn't matter so much. so from next sem, i'm gonna take the classes i want, for the FUN of it, and not worry about how that would influence my GPA. for example... biblical hebrew. how cool is that? like they get to read the first chapter of Ruth in Hebrew.
and sailing. or ballet. or all sorts of really interesting classes that i'm holding back from right now. throw results to the wind and enjoy my college life. yeah. i need to do that.
had a brief reprieve from mugging last night in the rain. THUNDERSTORM. lightning and thunder. i didn't go out in the thunderstorm.. only much later when it wasn't raining as heavily. unfortunately. i would have loved to have been drenched, but i only got a little wet. all the same, it's beautiful. and it's getting really warm. prancing around in the rain in only ONE LAYER OF CLOTHES. it's been awfully long since i've gone out in only a shirt.
and today.. well, it felt like singapore when it rains early in the morning. cool and nice. not cold. juz cooling. like it was 24 degrees. although technically, it's 2. spring is in the air! :)
