it rained. IT RAINED.
when it first snowed last year, we (my batch) went a little crazy.
now that it's raining, yea we're all a little high =p i guess it's not so bad for me, juz cos it was raining so much when i went back in dec.
but the feel of WATER on your face. water, not ice/snow. the smell of freshly watered soil. that unique smell of rain. there's no smell with snow.
rain. ahhh. has it been 1.5 mths already?
it's warm enough to stay out for like 10 min in a tshirt and hoodie. ahhh spring is in the air! :)
1.5 wks. a break. then it starts all over again. -gulp-
it's no fun having your holiday right smack in the middle of two weeks of exams. sigh.

somehow, time flies. just thinking abt the fact that there's only 2.5 mths to the end of the semester scares me. goodbyes to be said again, goodbyes to people who have made my life here so much more than it would have been. goodbyes to people who walked into my life, left their footprints, and are walking off to a bright bright future ahead.

went to watch 'biblical treasures of turkey' yesterday. it wasn't that good, just cos the person who filmed it wasn't very.. focused and kept digressing. but, it was so beautiful to see the limestone karst landforms, the caves, the beautiful lagoons. so many cultures meshed into one country... so many important cities of the early churches. They showed an underground church. a real underground church, literally, carved into the bedrock underground. with functional tunnels and air vents... everything. INTO the rock. can u imagine worshipping there? a constant reminder that indeed, the LORD is our Rock, our Refuge...

frank sinatra's fly me to the moon. michael buble's save the last dance for me, home and you don't know me. diana krall's besame mucho and the look of love. Sijie Nergaard's bewitched, bothered and bewildered. jazz fills my music appetite these days...:)
