interestingly, i was juz asking my rj geog teacher 2 mths back abt the feasibility of having a garden like that of central park, NY. guess what? marina bay is set to have 3 world-class gardens that rival world-renowned parks like central park and kew gardens, london. cool eh? NParks, URA and a couple of agencies are involved in this, and well, i think it's a bold move, because generally there are going to be people who think tt this will be a flop and that gardens are a waste of time.

BUT. if we can pull it off and equal central park, that's no laughing matter. it's not juz abt the tourism aspect, but the entertainment/relaxing value for locals and the entire image of live.work.play for Marina Bay.

anyway, it's off for the 2 hour comp lab session. stats in geog. bleh. it's like a lecture class of 40, and the first question tt the professor asked was 'who is taking this class not because it is compulsory?' of cos no one raised their hands. haha. oh well. S-plus, here i come =/
