so basically about a foot of snow was dumped over madison on thursday. and wind chill advisories were posted for last night and tonight. some artic air mass is settling over a large part of US. if you think singapore's weather is capricious, think again. on tues, we had temperatures hitting 12 degrees, which was like the warmest this winter and totally spring-like. two days later, you have the coldest temp for the winter, and the most snow in the last couple of years. yes. capriciousness as it's full glory i would think.

so other than freezing in my room, i'm generally all right. the bed is still the best place though. hot air rises, and my bed being lofted, is clearly warmer than below. add in the down comforter, and u've got the best place to be. curled up and asleep.

watched Le Grand Voyage, drove for an hour and a half straight, studied, had a debate abt politics in singapore and a little about how much the WP actually has powers to do, how valid their manifesto is, and about zoning policies. clearly, since that was a highlight of the day, today was basically just another cold day in the lib with good company (thank God) and good food (a chinese delivery that serves good food! :) church tomorrow. definitely a highlight of the week. (the same way primetime services are :p we braved the snowstorm for it! :)

juz glad this week's over. been a pretty stressful one, of which coffee has been a substantial part of it. i've been awake in a zonked out way for a lot of my lessons, just cos u know... somehow i dun seem to fully wake till like 3pm in the afternoon. i blame it on the cold. i guess today was a brief reprieve from exams. tomorrow, the mugging starts full speed. another week and most of my exams will be over, even if only for a month. but in three weeks, sun sand and sea. definitely something i'm looking forward to =)

so for now, it's good night and i hope everyone's nice and warm back in singapore. think of me when u perspire. i dun think i've really perspired in the last 3 weeks. not even while fencing. it's finally feeling like winter in wisconsin again...
