did u leave that at your 3am?! and i'm sorry for the loss of newcastle to chelsea, but hey, it was expected wasn't it? grin. after all, arsenal only won like.. i dunno. 4-1? :)

and hui hui, i miss you too! we MUST go on a trip together somewhere. can't wait for you to fly over next yr... the air mattress is available, though if u wanna snuggle up with me, u can -grin-

yeah last sem's food bag was SCARY. at least we didn't guzzle down huge amounts of choc this time around, though roys did get some reaaally good hershey's (was it hershey's?) dark choc mix bag, with cranberry and nuts or sth like tt. mmm tt was good =) and of cos, teddy grahams always hit the spot. speaking of which ah, royston ah, your choc teddy grahams that you very conveniently left at my place ARE STILL HERE. you better claim them back when u come back. tsk tsk abandoning all those poor orphan cute bears.

wii is really fun. it's a good workout (like seriously, i ACHE after each time i play some game. at least, for the sports and olympic ones. ahhhh.) and it's incredibly fun. and it's really like a wholesome family game kinda thing. back's aching now, especially between the shoulder blades. and the top of my arms. at least my forearms aren't aching this time, unlike the last time haha. nothing like a good ache.

so considering that it's a NR for my thesis grade, instead of a P, i think my prof really did forget me. urgh going to see if the geog admin staff can sort this out for me. ah well.

anyway, slope + 6 inches of accumulated snow + cafeteria tray + friends = great time sledding -beam- though i've been here 2.5 years, this is my first time sledding down bascom hill behind liz waters and it's so fun haha i guess playing in snow is always fun :)

so it's off to dinner now. just ate up half a bunch of celery cos i think it's going to start rotting soon if i dun finish it up haha. but celery's always refreshing and delicious on it's own, raw and all. yum =) salad before e main course i guess. actually dragged myself to cook so yeah pretty happy i did. cos it's smelling good. good enough to whet e appetite at least haha.

can't believe it's almost the end of the year. this isn't my first new year away from home - that would be outward bound korea. which was pretty incredible since we got to catch the sunrise on new year's day itself at the top of the mtn that we slogged to climb up. this year, it's definitely a lot more muted than that - nothing special (except for the bowl game grin. guess i'll follow it on gamecast. that is, if they have it for ncaa football... =/) then it's off for my SD/SF/LV adventure =)

ah it's so hard to believe this part of my life is going to be over so soon.
