Christmas and the advent of love.
this is my first Christmas in Madison. it was my first christmas eve, is my first christmas, and will be my first "a lot of days" until i leave on the 31st.
it's a white one this year. very. very. very. white. its so weird cos all the students are gone for the holidays. it wasn't even this empty last summer, but yeah, the place is almost completely cleared up (except for church of cos, which was packed. full. ) and with the strong winds we've been having, wind chill readings have been crazy. this is one COLD Christmas. it is however, going to be warmer in the morning (YAY!) so tt's nice. won't be as bad =)
what can I say? so many things have transpired in the last couple of days. some good - sleepovers and Christmas dinner, good talks and loads of fun, some bad - checking the student center, finishing my lit review and feeling so inadequately disappointed in it, having the car stuck on the garage ramp... yeah that wasn't fun. though it was an experience all right... hahaha.
but when all's said and done, it's still over. the good and the bad. it's been a busy time - to pack as much as possible in the short time we had together before pple (or rather, a single person.) flew away. the rush to get out cards that barely are adequate enough to express what I fully want to say. the lack of time to do all the things we wanna do. yeah it's been busy.
but it's back once more to the meaning of Christmas. the meaning of my relationship with God. the meaning of the center of my life. it's all about You, Lord.
