of winter storm advisories and more
good weather, bad weather, good weather, bad weather. the cycle repeats itself.
it was funny today when sx remarked, upon hearing that the temp was 1 degree yesterday afternoon, that 'oh spring is coming!'
ah. if only...
anyhow, it's gonna be nice and warm today - 1 to 3 degrees. can't really believe that the entire day's supposed to be above zero! it's going to be rainy though (RAIN! can you believe it?!!!! it's actually liquid!)
that said, a winter storm watch advisory is in for tmr night from 6pm to sunday 12pm. 3-6 inches of snow (yeah, to make up for whatever melts today -_-") and high winds of 20 to 30 miles/hr, sometimes 40 mph. which means snow drift.
hmm not sure if we still can make it to church in the morning if it's going to be that bad. especially if the roads get iced up. maybe, just maybe -cross fingers-, the storm advisory won't get upgraded to a warning, and, just maybe, it'll skip madison :)
one can only hope for incredible things i guess. like the coming of spring. haha
tmr's winter solstice! woot. start of winter! 6 inches of snow to mark the start of winter! (then again, we've had 25 inches BEFORE winter...)
anyhow, it's 4am and i'm up cos i slept at 9.30pm last night. ended up waking at 2.30, instead of the 6am i intended. think i'll go crash later - can't shake off the general feeling of tiredness tt's still plaguing me. but perhaps i'm in my element now - the late night/early morning time is perhaps the best time to be alone.
so now to more intellectual matters, of which my thesis is trying to be (but is failing miserably at). all i need to do is get out the lit review and background. why is that so difficult?! ahhh.
wo bu yao gan le. haha.
