so it's a struggle. a huge internal struggle, a battle of wills between the head and the heart.
but more importantly, knowing that God is my first and foremost, everything else will simply have to fall in place behind Him.
thinking to the message on Sunday and realising how much comfort those words bring.That God is good and loves us and will not leave us alone in our pain. That God is wise and His efforts are never for naught. And God is sovereign, reigning over all.
Indeed... "you never know that Jesus is all you need until Jesus is all you have. And when Jesus is all you have, then only then will you discover that Jesus is all you need".
Laying down my own desires at His feet and trusting that God is fully in control, and has my heart firmly held in His hands.
Teach me to fix my eyes on You and never waver, to trust in Your sovereignty regardless of what I see and feel, and to submit wholly, mind body soul, to You and You alone.
