essentially lounging around at my friend's apartment in San Diego right now. it's beautiful weather out here - almost 15C while it's like -10 back home in Madison. feels good to be able to simply wear a short-sleeve shirt out and walk around and still feel warm. ahhh

at least, with spring will come warm temperatures. although jan and feb are prob going to be frigidly cold. i'm so going to need to get used to wisc's temperatures when i head back on the 14th.

anyhow, it's great being out here. still really really tired - am going to be needing lots of sleep to catch up on the debt that i've accumulated. but otherwise, so far, it's been great. met up with seah and huileng in chicago, had dinner at Penang (ahh familiar tasting food), and now i'm here. had char siew, shao rou, sambal kangkong and fish slice soup for dinner last night, thanks to lj's fabulous cooking skills. and just had dimsum.

honestly, i always put on weight over the holidays... and it seems that even though i'm not home for the first time for winter break, this is going to be no different. all thanks to lj... haha

prob going to be heading down to chicago ard 18th to 20th (tentatively), so if anyone's going to be around in that area, let me know. esp the uiuc pple (if u even see this... haha). come and meet me!
