time for some updates...

after today, i'm almost done with this week. aaaah. it's been crazy. the fact tt i'm up at 4.30am to do work probably speaks louder than any verbal articulation of it. almost. barely. there.
it's been crazy. pile load of work. it'll be a wonder if my specs degree don't go up after this sem, what with the 6-7 hour stretches staring at the computer screen and adjusting the most minute details again, and again, and again. in addition to thicker specs lens, i'll prob develop OCD also.

but. it's almost done. AND this week's the AAG annual convention, so some of the prof's are out. yay! unfortunately, despite me taking 4 geog classes, only two of them have cancelled class. which is good already, but. u would think, with me taking mostly geog classes, MORE profs will actually go for it and gimme a week off. bleh.

still can't decide what class it is tt i want to drop next sem. actually i think i'm cheating the sem a little since i'm technically taking an extra grad sem that theoretically i'm not supposed to be. and considering that i'm (ok not me, but generally speaking...) paying less fees that grad students while taking so many of their classes -hmmm- haha it's funny. not sure if i'm looking forward to tt class though. but, i have till sept to make my decision so i'll just hold on to it for now.

they haven't replied me yet. which makes me a little.. queasy because i do need to write my proposal by this sem. and if i haven't got permission... i don't exactly have tt much time to switch topics, get approval from my prof and do up e necessary research in time to not fail geog 766. -grimace-

singapore film fest this fri/sat. going to chalk the pavements with ads for this tmr... and post up flyers. and spam my class lists. hmm haha.

virginia tech's incident. as a college community, i guess we're all pretty much in shock too. it's pretty crazy, and i guess the only thing we can really do is pray for the survivors and the family members of those affected. this is one of those times that makes u worry if sth like tt could happen...

u know cartography is taking over my life when u look at the sunset and think how beautiful the colors are, and start wondering how do you replicate that gradient in adobe illustrator. -shudder- i freak myself out every time i do that. geeeeeeeeeeek.
