the last couple of days have been amazingly warm. above 10 degree temperatures warm my body, soul and heart -beam- yesterday's temperature of 12 was good enough for a sleeveless and a light jacket (but by the time i reached class, i was pretty much perspire... haven't perspired like tt since i came back from singapore!)

today... it's going to go up to 18 degrees! I know! it's amazing! bwahahahaha.

the weather is good enough for me to want to say tt spring is here (even if the nights drop to just below zero). only the last few vestiges of winter remains -- bare trees and a few more mounds of snow/ice. other than that, it's basically spring. even the birds have returned, merrily chirping even as i speak.

central time is now 1 hour ahead, i.e. i'm 13 hours behind singapore now, instead of 14. it changed on sunday, and somehow, my body isn't adjusting. i know i know, it's only an hour, but still... sleep times and waking up times are suddenly different.

at least the sun only sets at 7 now, and rises at a better time... i was kinda getting sick of having so much sunlight in my eye at 8am, when i'm still in bed.
