so. it's pretty amazing, but yes, i just got an email from the University of Miami about their MA program in geog. didn't know they could get names from my dept, but well, it's not even like i'm a senior yet. ok fine, so -technically- i am. but watever.

the point is, i dun care abt financial aid and tuition remission, and so, no i don't want to talk on the phone. unless they are willing to pay off my bond hahahaha. even then...

BUT. i think the most qian bian thing is the statement right after asking if they can call me - ' by the way, it is now 80 degrees outside my office' -grrrrrrrrrrr- well, it's 50-ish today. and tt's good enough for me. and i can go back to singapore and get 90 degree weather, so -watever-.

it boots the ego a little. until u realise tt the prof who recommended me doesn't even know me, so he prob just took geog seniors/juniors' names off a list. bleh.

it's that time of the sem again, when the next sem's timetable's out and it's a big headache choosing classes for the coming sem. there were so many classes i wanted to take, but 3 of them aren't offered anymore. sigh. there's hardly any human geog offered this sem cos my prof is leaving, and tt takes 2 courses off. i mean, i could take more classes in GIS, physical or human-environment... but it's human i want. and the one human geog class i want is a grad class. again. thought i was done with all that, but well... i dunno.
