this song was the intro before my lecture started. quite cool i guess.. the lecturer bought like 10 different popular magazines to show us the difference in attitudes n perceptions of different genders n common sense/societal sense. is a pretty cool class, except that the readings can kill. all the readings can kill.

used to hear this song played over gold 90fm pretty often. speaking of which, i haven't listened to the radio here yet. hmm wonder if it's good.

effectively, from wk 4 onwards, i either have exams or papers due almost every week. and three of those weeks have 2 exams per week. 11 exams for 4 subjects, and the last subject hasn't told us when e exam is, but min is 2.. so yes.. gg.

ok. back to mugging. there is so much to learn, in so short a time. it's like... JC ALL OVER AGAIN! no.. think it's kinda worse than jc, cos jc can slack haha. n jc there's tutorials. which motivates u. finishing homework does that. now.. it's juz readings readings readings. as least for the psych courses, it's like read a couple of chapters of the textbook (each chapters at least 20 pages) per lecture/discussion (i have 3 lectures n a discussion per week). for the urban planning one... well, i dun have to read chapters before each lecture. i just have to read finish BOOKS. super scary haha. but i guess, that's geog. it's CRAZY.

so i guess, back to mugging. mugger toad. bah. never really was one. am i going to become one now?? -gasp- haha.

everyone's complaining about the weather, and looking forward to about 2/3 weeks time when fall starts... well. cough. i kinda like this weather. actually it's still a bit too chilly for me. something warmer would be nice HAHA. everyone perspires like mad during the urban planning class (nice old heritage building that's crumbling down inside is too rundown to be economical to aircondition. at least that's wat they say haha good thing there is a heater) but i'm like nice n comfy. could even be a bit warmer, and it would be cozy. BAH. i'm so in the wrong climate haha.thin singapore skin grin.

1) It's the top for sociology
2) one of the top for biochem, engineering, psychology
3) one of the top for geography, geology
4) 12th top research universities in the US
5) part of the famous Big Ten universities of US (includes UIUC, ohio, penn state, Umich,bowling green, iowa state... basically the famous public unis)
6) one of the top restaurant towns
7) one of the top campus food (babcock icecream!!!)
8) alumni students labelled courses here as 'TOUGH' how encouraging :p
9) a lot of other stuff haha

but the most important thing that i think the freshies are most proud of?
- #1 party school in america. erpz.

and i'm having a bit of identity crisis haha. cos of my credits transferred, i'm not a freshman... a sophomore actually. but it's so much easier to say i'm a freshman cos i'm in my first year. hmmm.
