You 'll never let me go

today's worship ministered pretty much to me. guess it's is kinda scary packing up and leaving. everything i know, everything i live with, everything that i'm familiar with... all of that's going to change. it's like the carpet is being pulled out from under me, and i'm expected to get used to the new one that's replacing it. everything's changing. all i know is gonna be different.

but. today's worship song... Emmanuel, really spoke to me.

Emmanuel
Jesus Christ
You'll never let me go
My Shepherd King
You are watching over me
Emmanuel

and truly, Emmanuel. Even over there, God is with me. Everything changes, but the Rock i stand on doesn't. and in that, there is so much comfort. No matter what, He watches over me, and He'll never never never let me go.

was kinda a reminder to me:
why are u worried? I am there. I have always been, and always will. I will never let you go out from the palms of My hands.

so amazing, You have named the stars
of the deepest night
still You love me
You have called my name
I will follow You

Joshua 1:5, “ No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.”

I will never leave you nor forsake you. In this original Hebrew passage, there are five negative particles. Five "nots". It is as if God really wanted to emphasized that He will always be with us and will not not not not not forsake us. This is the strongest negation in the bible.

That brought to mind one of my favourite passages from Romans 8.

Romans 8:28-31
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who; Have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew He also Predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. An those He Predestined, He also called; those he called, He also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us.

Do not worry. I am sure you will settle down well. It's not as scary as it seems. Try to get into a local church ASAP as that will also provide support both spiritually and help you settle down as the same time. I am sure people there will be more then willing to advise you about various things.
