yea, moved in to my dorm. it's big. esp by the standards of the squeezy puny normal rooms. So thank God, cos i'm actually in 'expanded housing' as there wasn't even space for me.. haha. i'm sharing the room with 3 other americans though, so do pray for me that we'll get along fine.

reserving judgement on my room mates for now (only met 2 though, cos the last one hasn't moved in yet) but one of them likes to party a lot. hmm. haha. ah well. there are quiet spots n areas to study, juz gotta find them.

the place is beautiful. sch's starting on friday, but hopefully i won't have lessons? haha if i get a good timetable. hoping for short morning days. prefer to get morning classes and stuff cos it's better... less people take it.

took 2 placement tests today. one for maths (haven't touched it since dec! was kinda like.. okay, i remember this... wait wat was it? haha but thank God everything came back. and the test was kinda easy lah.. haha =) and english. but apparently all e singaporeans haf to take te 'english as a second language test' which is quite crap. cos what's my first language then? Chinese??! good luck conversing with me haha. and like if i dun do well for it, i haf extra lessons. urgh. but think did relatively okay. not like A level standard (there was only listening and application question) but considering that it's mainly all the internationals who dun really haf tt good english... yea think i'll score HAHA.

parents left about 3 hours ago. hmm. finally it all begins isn't it?

how's everything like in singapore? kinda irritating that strait times stop offering the free internet news cos it means that i can't get much on sg. gotta update me! :)
