after the coldest night in 135 years, the sun has come out to play (finally!) and temps have warmed up! trust me, when i say that it's actually warm now even though it's -6C out. it feels warm enough to not wear gloves and my beanie, and even not zip up my outer columbia jacket.

all the same, this warm spell is but short lived, since it appears yet another storm's heading our way (again!) on monday, with rain, snow and sleet before turning into all snow by night. the worst estimates put it at 8 inches, but hopefully and with all probability, it'll be less than that. although i'm not looking forward to more ice on the ground. sighhhh

it's been so treacherous walking ard now - everywhere's all iced up. and when i mean ice, i reaaaaaally mean ice. state street had highly dangerous stretches, and walking down bascom hill with little/no sand on some parts ... yeah not a nice thing.

it appears that perhaps by e time SH comes ard, it'll still be snowy and wintery after all! =)
