so it's another snow/ice storm out today - the remmants of the ice storm that wreaked havoc in Missouri and some other Midwestern states. It's been snowing even before I got up this morning, and looking out of the window in class to see snow cascade from the skies is fun, only for the first 10 minutes. after 1 h 15 min, it's kinda like 'oh crap. i dun want to walk through tt'.

so yupz, sch's still open. then again, completely expected. just feel so lazy to walk out and trudge through sludgy messes and slip on slippery snow. then again, it's not like it's really all that bad out. buses are running 30 min behind schedule though, which means that i should probably attempt to walk to class like about now.
it's actually a nice temperature today - ok so you know u're in winter when you can call -4 degrees a nice warm temperature. but it is. stepping out this morning, i was inexplicably excited when i didn't feel that cold punch of air as usual. it's nice and chilly, yet warm enough that I'm not shivering in the cold. i like tt =)
it's beautiful, as it always is when it snows. the pure white that tumbles out of the skies and softly pounce on your hair. bascom hill's completely covered in this wonderful whiteness, and from the science hall staircase, the view is incredible.
i love this place. we complain abt the weather and the bus services and everything else, but i love it. that said, i just have to try and remember this 'love' when i head out to class.
ahhhh winter's here to stay.
