it's really pretty good - just tried it for dinner a while ago. you have to eat it hot though - loses its appeal once it turns cold...
the sun sets way too early now. it's a little depressing - 5.30pm looks like 9pm in Singapore (or 10.30pm in Madison in summer). i know it's going to get worse - after all the shortest day of the yr isn't for another mth plus. it's irritating walking in to class at 4pm with the sun still ... well not the brightest but at least its there... and walking out at 5.15pm in complete darkness. and the wind howls. and the cold seeps through your jackets.
no. not nice at all.
yet, it's a melancholic beauty about it - a beauty in the harshness and darkness of it.
i do wish that i'd get to see sunsets more often though. ah well.
anyway, it's off to minnesota next thursday for thanksgiving. thanksgiving dinner on wed, then hitting the roads bright and early thurs morn. gonna chill man (and hopefully play settlers hahaha) oh and of cos, hitting black friday sales at mall of america - the biggest mall in all of US (like seriously, WHY would they put the biggest mall in somewhere as remote and far off as MINNESOTA?) but whatever. here's to minnesoooooooooota (in their accent haha).
and after that, it'll be a mad mad mad rush to the end. not like it hasn't already been crazy, but it's just going to get crazier as deadlines pile up. i'm not even thinking abt finals - since i don't have that many finals. just... the papers and projects AND MY STUPID THESIS. which is sucking my life away. tog with GIS.
the good news is.. i just got hold of a 1-year copy of the student edition of GIS! which reduces the time in lab.. provided it actualy does have all the extensions that i need, like the various components of spatial analyst. somehow i think it won't. =_=
ah well. i just want thanksgiving to come. and stay. and not ever end =/
