we bask in what we have now, clinging on with all our strength to make the most of it, reluctant and hesitant to even consider the future. we wish time would stop, at least for a moment and that this would never end.

but deep down, perhaps, is always the fear that things will be different once it's all over. everything will be different. and this are perhaps, by far, the best years of my life.

so i thank God for so many things this semester. For teaching me so many things, bringing me through and bringing me back to Him. For memories that last and friends that stand behind me. And i believe that certainly there is so much more in store for me.

and if friendships on earth are so enjoyable, how much more will they be when we're in heaven and in His perfect presence?

but that also brings the realisation that there are certain things that i have to say, before it's too late. things that I don't dare to say, for lack of boldness and an overabundance of fear. and so Father, I ask for Your wisdom and grace. and mercy.

anyhow, on to other things - i'm here in my friend's house. basically... the couple of us had a sleepover HAHA. i know, it's such a girl thing. and i never thought i'd ever do it here. but yeah, it was a study camp sleepover... we studied till like 2+, dropped off to sleep, woke up, made pancakes for breakfast and now we're back here studying HAHA.

i guess we all just miss the thanksgiving feel of things =) we should do this more often - i actually feel way more productive in my studying, and of cos, it always helps to have company. makes bitter medicine a lot nicer swallowing, the bitter medicine being the thousand and one stupid equations in GIS that I honestly feel shouldn't even be in this course. erpz. ahh well. bitter medicine that went down smoother haha.

it's -12. i'm not stepping out today. which means that i won't be going home so soon bwahaha. feels kinda like taking a holiday that isn't a holiday =)
