so it's been a crazy ride for the last two weeks or so. has it only been about 2 weeks? it seems like my exams ended waaaaaaay long ago.

so here are the updates:

- finished my exams
- got my results, thank God for them
- moved my stuff out of my summer sublet
- camped in the room with my friend on a sleeping bag (cos everything had been moved out)
- went over to my current housemate's old house to stay over for a night
- moved everything into my new house
- got my missing table screw, set up the tables and decided to shift furniture all over
- welcomed freshies and their parents, drove them around doing stuff
- shopping! finally forced myself to do it (under the watchful glance and incessant nagging of my room mate to actually do it) so i finally have jeans that will last a while more. haha
- tried a number of restaurants

things that will be happening in the next week or so:
- service at hilldale theatre starts again! so does the campus bus! which makes it waaay more convenient to get to church
- nazi rally and anti-nazi rally happening in about 4 minutes
- chilli crab n mapo tofu dinner tonight at my friend's place
- ex-room mate moving back to the dorms... gotta help her and meet her parents
- TASTE OF MADISON!!!!! -yum-

the new apartment's great. it's nice and my room's big (ger) and i love living with my current housemate. so tt rocks. we cook. we do housework together, and we've promised to keep the place clean. =) pictures some other time...

had a really frightening experience with the storm yesterday. thank God we're all fine. but yeah... that was scary. more on that some other time too.

going off to observe the rallies (preferably from far), and then back to cook dinner. the nazi rally actually is causing the city some problems, with it's controversial nature. makes me wonder why in the first place they granted the permit for it... but right to free speech i guess. and now the police are out in full force (the same number that they had for the riots on halloween) and pple are riled up and angry about the nazis (who are protesting against 'lax' immigration rules) and pple like us just want to go see both sides (the anti-nazi protestors are separated from the nazis by a construction fence and lots and lots of police...) hopefully there won't be any violence though.

the new freshies are kinda... cute. esp the astar grp. it's like bringing little kids out for an outing. haha. it's kinda fun i guess, doing all this and seeing a whole group of pple wide-eyed and fresh coming in to study. ah well... my batch will be back soon, and sch starts next mon. sigh... too fast, too soon, too much. =/
