writer's block. and a hard rock of fear in my tummy coupled with feelings of inadequency. I'm never going to finish this paper in time, or write it well enough. arrrrgh.

that said, here's my proposal of a scientific research that someone should do so as to save me from the looming deadlines:
has anyone else realise that time seems to go faster and faster? This semester passed way faster than my other two semesters, and every year goes by quicker and quicker. Time speeds up...

gravity has an effect on time right?
An increase in mass will increase the gravitation force that the mass exerts right?
population growth is geometric, and the earth's population has been increasing exponentially.
increase in population = increase in mass of people = increase in mass of earth = increase in gravitational force of earth = change in time.

therefore, i postulate that time is indeed going by faster due to the increase in the number of people. Time that we can see (like one second or minute or hour) does not change for us, because we are in it and that's how we define it, but overall, time IS passing faster.

ok, so it sounded more convincing over dinner last night when i was a little hyper from coffee and i was speaking fast enough to my house mate that she was convinced for a moment. the loopholes are more glaringly obvious when i write it down, but whatever. :) i'm putting my physics to good use. i think. haha.

why is it so easy to crap something like that out but when it comes to my paper, i'm totally and completely STUCK?!!!!!
