halloween was a blast. 2 of my rm mates came back on thurs night before halloween drunk as doorposts, and proceeded to puke. hmm. well at least they are nice clean pple, who actually cleaned up their side of the room where they puked (thankfully my rm's nice n big) and even scrubbed e carpet and all tt.

fri night saw me going out with my rm mates, dressed as a cow girl from the various clothes they had on hand that was thrust at me with fury in their eyes, because they had started shopping for halloween costumes from the wk before, and me of cos couldn't find anything i want or come up with anything i wanted to be. so yes. but it ended up with me being a really cute cow-girl =)

hit a couple of house parties. nothing much was going on. a friend got drunk so we brought her home. found one of the guys passed out in bed BEFORE MIDNIGHT so that deserved him getting written all over with lipstick =)

hit state street after that. woah. no one has ever experienced halloween till you are in downtown madison. the number of pple! the number of police on duty, both on foot n horsebacks! the amazing variety of costumes. ingenuity at it's best man... woah it was real fun. and a little cold. but mostly fun =)

grp of guys ran around in a thong. but they had a good bod, so tt was fine. and it was like maybe 4 degrees out? so yes.. the guys were practically freezing haha. you haf half the girls dressed as something slutty, which they themselves readily admit to, and the other half dressed as really cool stuff. saw a couple of pple dressed as male genitalia, sperm, and other weird stuff. had a couple dress up as the electric socket and the electrical plug. my friend dressed as spongebob squarepants and got felt up by a lot of drunk pple, but he was a guy so wasn't like he minded haha.

ssa's party on sat was muted, juz a gathering of friends n costumes. oh i learnt how to carve a pumpkin! we did this super cute one...















so anyway, halloween was a cool weekend. i was safely home by the time the riots started and teargas was thrown, but my rm mate went down to specially take part in the riot, hurling insults at the police. however, no violence from the public was seen.. no cars destroyed, store windows broken etc like in last year's. (she ran the instance the police took out the tear gas though, so she wasn't caught in it)

lest anyone thinks tt it's all wild and crazy here (well, it is... haha), it's not all tt bad most of the times. juz dun go out alone late at night on fri and sat nights. drunk pple are not to be trifled with. i dun need a personal experience to know that. otherwise, pple are happy, hardworking generally and great to be with.

i'm glad the round of exams last week's over. not looking to the other exams this week. somehow, weekends always pass waaaaay too quickly.
